EXPERIENCE THE TRAIL
The Murray Coorong Trail is a multi-use nature-based recreational trail that travels parallel of South Australia's iconic
Murray River, Lower Lakes and Coorong waterways. The trail is sectioned into numerous smaller trails across the 450 kilometres
and cross paths with other existing trails and tracks which trail goers can enjoy.
The diversity of options and experiences along the Murray Coorong Trail bolsters recreational opportunities for all types of explorer!
Each section of trail is differing in distance, difficulty, and surface is what makes it an ideal adventure. Connecting townships in
the region together, the trail can be experienced as a day trip or as a long expedition.
Visitors are encouraged to familiarise themselves with important knowledge, maps and recently published information on
the Murray Coorong Trail before they embark on their trip. The Murray Coorong Trail is being developed periodically, with more
smaller trail sections becoming available for travellers to enjoy in the near future.
